Is the rotating shaft of the equipment worn out?
Some of TSUKASA’s equipment models use an air-purge mechanism to protect the rotating shaft. This is to improve the sealing of the shaft with air pressure and prevent foreign matter from entering the shaft.

What is the air-purge mechanism that uses a seal ring?
The seal ring blocks the entry of foreign material, and the air pressure barrier prevents powder and foreign material from entering the shaft.

Check the purge air
When performing maintenance on equipment, check the solenoid valve’s operating status and whether air is actually passing through.
Check the proper air pressure value
There is an appropriate value for the air purge pressure setting. If it is too weak, the air purge will not work, and if it is too strong, it will cause accelerated wear on the shaft. Please check your instruction manual for the appropriate setting value.
For any uncertainties or problems, contact TSUKASA
The appropriate pressure setting values vary depending on the type of equipment and operating conditions. Also, if the shaft is worn, it may need to be replaced. If you have any problems, please feel free to contact TSUKASA.
